Stainless Hose Ends

Stainless hose fittings are the fittings made of stainless steel alloy that are used to connect pipes, hoses, and machines. The most common grade of stainless steel used to make these hose fittings is the 316 stainless steel. It is highly corrosion-resistant, durable, heat resistant, and has cryogenic toughness.

The hose fittings are used in several applications such as hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, automotive industry, power plants, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, and laboratories, etc. The stainless steel hose fittings can endure mechanical stress, chemical reactions, and high temperatures efficiently.

There are several different types of stainless steel hose fittings or ends including Stainless Crimp Hose Fittings, Quick Connects, Reusable Hose Ends, Hose Barb/Push-On, and Cam & Groove.

Stainless Crimp Hose Fittings

The stainless crimp hose end is easy to install. You only need to cut the hose and press the hose, fitting and crimp. They are highly corrosion resistant and durable. They are manufactured in different styles such as flare, male threads, O-Ring face seal, metric design, etc. They are available in several shapes, sizes, and styles such as Series 43, Series BW (Bite To the Wire), HY (Dayco Comparable), ThermoPlastic Hose Ends, and PTFE R14 (Smooth Hose) Stainless Hose End.

1. Series 43

Stainless steel Series 43 hose fittings are one of the most commonly used styles of fitting in hydraulic systems. It is manufactured by using the 316 stainless steel by using the precision machining method.

2. Series BW (Bite To the Wire)

The stainless steel Series BW (Bite to the Wire) hose ends are used for a braided hydraulic hose or spiral hydraulic hose.

3. HY (Dayco Comparable)

The stainless HY (Dayco Comparable) is used for braided hose applications. These hose fittings are quite similar to the Weatherhead U series.

4. Thermoplastic Hose Ends

The stainless steel hose ends are used for thermoplastic hose. They are crimped on to the hose. It is a machined at high precision machined.

5. PTFE R14 (Smooth Hose) Stainless Hose Ends

PTFE stainless steel hose fittings are used for R14 PTFE hydraulic hose. These fittings are highly resistant to corrosion and provide sanitary protection.

Quick Connects

A quick-connect is a fitting or coupling that provides a fast connection for liquid, fluid, or gas pipelines. You do not need any special equipment like wrenches; quick connects are hand-operated. There are several different types of stainless quick connect fittings such as ISO 7241B HNV , FF High-Pressure Flushface , VVS - Screw To Connect, ST - Straight Through, CRS Waterblast, and HPI Gauge.

Reusable Hose Ends

The stainless steel reusable hose fittings are different from other fittings because they are not permanently attached or fixed to the hydraulic system. They are considered suitable for hose systems that require emergency repairs. They can be easily attached either by hand or a wrench. They do not require crimping in order to connect to the hose. They are easy to install and detach. There are several different stainless reusable hose fittings such as NPT/NPSM pipe swivel, SAE J514-37 degree JIC fittings, O-Ring Boss (ORB), O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS), British and Metric (BSPP/BSPT), and ultra-high pressure fittings.

Hose Barb/Push-On

The stainless hose barb or push-on fittings are used to connect pipelines for transmitting liquid or fluid. It provides easier to install and disconnect. It is used in several applications including the automobile industry, manufacturing industries, and packaging industries. They are also used for repairing the damaged hoses. They provide a reliable and leak-proof seal.

Cam & Groove

A stainless steel cam and groove coupling or a Camlock fitting are used for connecting hoses. It is easy to install and disconnect without the need for any tools. They are available in different material such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass and polypropylene. They are available in several different types with BSP or NPT, with shank, female thread, or male thread.
